I prayed for his safety of course, his wisdom to positively make an impact on Americans and faiths of millions of Americans to be strengthened. Wow...that would be amazing! </div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07313168259711668017noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8337916041920235800.post-53540524816386241362015-08-04T08:24:00.001-05:002015-08-04T08:34:52.352-05:00Prayer for HaydenIt's been a crazy summer...especially the month of July. Out of town for a week, then hosting my mom's 80th bday and having two different sets of out of town guests. Fun but busy! Now that we are heading back into preparing for the school year...I can put my prayers to paper. I've been missing my untangled prayers! This week's prayer if for a little girls named Hayden who has cancer. I prayed for many things while creating this drawing. Faith for the parents, wisdom for the doctors, courage for Hayden and the peace of the Holy Spirit to be with them all and much more...I lift this entire family up to you Lord! <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3mJRgcYkR8c/VcC_eolTZDI/AAAAAAAAAww/H8yycarKo84/s640/blogger-image--178401894.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3mJRgcYkR8c/VcC_eolTZDI/AAAAAAAAAww/H8yycarKo84/s640/blogger-image--178401894.jpg"></a></div><br></div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07313168259711668017noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8337916041920235800.post-33217683286079069252015-05-07T09:07:00.001-05:002015-05-07T17:03:41.872-05:00Prayer for B.G.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This untangled prayer is for my father in law's mother. Sorry about that! Went to England with my husband, kids and my husband's grandmother for Spring Break and that took lots and lots of planning in February and March. What a beautiful country that is so immensely rich in fascinating history. <div><br></div><div>Now I am back to my untangled prayers...finally! I used Flux to fulfill the Diva Challenge - Laura, I hope Artoo is feeling better! </div><div><br></div><div>The prayer circling in my mind while drawing this was thanking Jesus for all of his suffering that He endured so many years ago so that we could have everlasting life and be forgiven for our sins. She has been fighting bravely for awhile now and the struggle just continues on and on. She is the mother of my daughter's friend, and my heart goes out to the whole family. I wish I could make it all go away, but I know God has a plan for this sweet family and his plan is perfect. He knows what we can handle if we put our trust in Him and this mother has shown an unwavering faith in his plan. She is an inspiration to everyone that knows this family. <div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Ro-CfVpeb7U/VOs3Rmh70qI/AAAAAAAAAu0/t_tdVwgTuVw/s640/blogger-image--66897429.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Ro-CfVpeb7U/VOs3Rmh70qI/AAAAAAAAAu0/t_tdVwgTuVw/s640/blogger-image--66897429.jpg"></a></div><br></div><br></div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07313168259711668017noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8337916041920235800.post-79243986297704848342015-01-18T13:12:00.001-06:002015-01-18T13:12:13.991-06:00Prayer for Diva Challenge 200!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Congrats to Laura for her 200th Diva Challenge! May The Lord strengthen you and uphold you with his mighty hands. The flu struck everyone in our house mid month and it was like an infirmary. Fortunately, I was only "down and out" for about 2 days, but it went through all four of us and lasted about 10 days. Yuck! Then as soon as we were well, it was time to make a 14 hour drive to see family for Christmas. Crazy times! Thank the Lord we were all well for the drive!! <div><br></div><div>The 3rd week of Advent, reminds us to be joyful. Even though this is late, it is good to think about what brings us genuine joy...for me one of the big ones if tangling. Of course, there are many others but I love getting in my "zone", focusing on something that needs to be prayed for and putting pen to paper. What brings you joy???</div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cU1C-1hXLHw/VKK4dNQUmPI/AAAAAAAAAuA/S32FG6zGsbc/s640/blogger-image-17649759.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cU1C-1hXLHw/VKK4dNQUmPI/AAAAAAAAAuA/S32FG6zGsbc/s640/blogger-image-17649759.jpg"></a></div><br></div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07313168259711668017noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8337916041920235800.post-38414310388759635482014-12-13T08:40:00.001-06:002014-12-13T09:02:34.888-06:00Advent 2014 - 2nd Week<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I had intended to get this Untangled Prayer done at the beginning of this second week...however life got in the way. I was determined to get it done before the third week started and I just made it. Whew! So I got this template from Dianne over at Living Well Resources, she posted it as an Advent Journey to follow with 25 different sections to tangle. Thanks Dianne!! My doesn't have exactly 25, since I was doing it for a whole week...in fact I haven't counted how many sections. I encourage you to grab Dianne's template and join her in the Advent Journey. :) this template is perfect for week 2 because the 2nd candle in an Advent wreath is sometimes called the Bethlehem candle. And this template depicts the road to Bethlehem. While tangling, I focused on what Mary and Joseph must have endured during this journey. So thankful for both Mary and Joseph for all the endured!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-90ol8G5cngM/VIxP9HFgsYI/AAAAAAAAAtw/5fTiLwWYNrQ/s640/blogger-image-2047081413.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-90ol8G5cngM/VIxP9HFgsYI/AAAAAAAAAtw/5fTiLwWYNrQ/s640/blogger-image-2047081413.jpg"></a></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07313168259711668017noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8337916041920235800.post-1235138014261732782014-11-30T08:17:00.002-06:002014-11-30T08:17:42.054-06:00Advent 2014 - 1st Week<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is my first Untangled Prayer of the Advent Season. I plan to do one each week of Advent that helps me focus on the real meaning of Christmas and the Advent season. This tree reminds me of the Jesse Tree that reminds us of Joseph's ancestry. In the book of Isaiah, there is foreshadowing about a shoot that will spring from the stem of Jesse and that stem will bear fruit. Thank you Joseph for standing by Mary! Enjoy this season and remember to slow down and to try not to caught up in the frenzy that sometimes is prevalent during this season. Take a deep breath and remember what we are celebrating. :) </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The leaves of this tree are from the Bales tangle that I love to use so often...</div>

It's so sad to me that this is happening in our schools and universities. I'm praying for all of the FSU students and especially for those who were in the library at the time of the shooting. I cannot imagine how that will affect those students. My heart goes out to the families of FSU students, how scary this must be for all of you. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Remember what God said to the Israelites, when Moses could no longer lead them: <i>"<span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 25px;">Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord</span></i><span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 25px;"><i> your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” </i> (<i>Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV) </i>God gives these words to us as well, to help us through difficult times.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 25px;"><i><br /></i></span></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 25px;">We need to all be strong in these situations, it's got to be extremely tough...but God is with us even when bad things happen. God will definitely help us get through the bad times, if you let Him in...Hang in the FSU! Here is my Untangled Prayer that I prayed for all affected by this senseless act. </span></span><br />

<i>Diva Challenge #194 Note: I drew the lines with my non-dominant left hand...I did use a ruler though because I did not want this prayer to look messy. If I was just drawing to draw, I would have been more apt to only use my left hand, but as most of you know...the majority of my drawings are wrapped up in prayers. :)</i><br />

A good verse to think about this month is from 1 Chronicles 16:34 NIV that tells us: "Give thanks to The Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." Even though we all have our struggles in this life, there is so much to be thankful for...The fact that you are reading this means you are blessed with the ability to access the internet which so many people don't have. You may not feel very blessed right now, but I am absolutely positive that each one of you is blessed in many ways and you all have much to be thankful for...you may have to search for it, but it is there. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">This week's Diva challenge included 3 tangles that started with T, H & X (thx) very nice idea! The tangles are Trio, Huggins and Xyp...of course there are a few other tangles in there to finish it out. :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jLbOCYGTFg4/VGdpDnbFiPI/AAAAAAAAAso/fnVnVDAtoLE/s640/blogger-image-1637428338.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jLbOCYGTFg4/VGdpDnbFiPI/AAAAAAAAAso/fnVnVDAtoLE/s640/blogger-image-1637428338.jpg"></a></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07313168259711668017noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8337916041920235800.post-79125890401128687092014-11-08T09:50:00.001-06:002014-11-08T17:24:39.844-06:00Prayer for ArtooIt's been a couple of crazy months since I posted. I chaired a charity fundraiser event and got my kiddos back of the swing of school in September. Then October I spent most of the month recovering from September...ha! I have missed tangling and loved putting pen to paper again. It's so relaxing for me. This tangle is a prayer for a little boy whose nickname is Artoo. Many of you who read this will know who I am talking about. He is having surgery on his eyes this month and I decided to create an Untangled Prayer for him, because he has touched a lot of hearts. While creating this...I prayed for little Artoo, his family and the doctors that are performing the surgery. <div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-eRvM9_UXUYI/VF47tUazsGI/AAAAAAAAAsc/8BE8CwvJniY/s640/blogger-image-2035756445.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-eRvM9_UXUYI/VF47tUazsGI/AAAAAAAAAsc/8BE8CwvJniY/s640/blogger-image-2035756445.jpg"></a></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07313168259711668017noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8337916041920235800.post-55948519259434285422014-08-22T10:50:00.001-05:002014-08-22T18:57:55.260-05:00Prayer for My Aunt<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">It's been a few weeks since I have been able to post something. At the end of July we were out of town and while we were gone my dear aunt past away. She had been very sick, so it is a blessing that she is no longer suffering. I started this Untangled Prayer with last week's Diva Challenge, however I didn't get a chance to post, so I just carried it over to this week and incorporated both Challenges. This week's challenge surrounds a water theme, which tied in perfectly to the 23rd Psalm where The Lord "leads me beside still waters". This was one of of her favorite Psalms and it was read at her funeral. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">God bless you Aunt Patsy! So my prayer is again for him, his family and all of the doctors that are trying to help him get better so that he can go home. I know this is a scary time for this family, but I pray that they can feel the peace of The Holy Spirit while he is in surgery and know that God is with him during this time. I pray for the this young man to feel the peace of our Lord as he waits for Monday and I pray that the doctors can quickly find & remove the blockage in his GI tract. It's so hard to watch a young guy in a hospital room...when he should be out enjoying summer. My heart goes out to them!<br />

This week a friend's son "A" was admitted to a nearby children's hospital with intestinal inflammation. When I started this I had just gotten news that this teen boy had been rushed in the middle of the night to another bigger children's hospital about 45 minutes away. Scary stuff! So my prayer started out as a petition directed to the doctors to help them find a diagnosis and then of course for the boy and the family. Then as I was finishing this up this morning I got an update on that the doctor's have a diagnosis and it is very treatable. This is great new and so my prayer switched to a prayer of thanksgiving. Hallelujah!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I used the Bales tangle because it is my "go to" tangle when I don't know what else to do. After doing the basic bales, I filled part with tipple...that was my first attempt at changing how I use this tangle. Next I added more of the curved lines on the unfilled bales and I believe it may have morphed into another tangle...it looks so familiar. Interesting how that happens when you Redux, Remix and Revisit. :)</div>

Hi All,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Here is my post for the Diva Challenge this week. What a wonderful challenge she gave us with Beads of Courage. I had a lot of fun with this and tried to make it very colorful as a kiddo would probably like. I prayed for all the children and teens who are in and out of the hospital for various illnesses. We spent 5 days & 4 nights at a Children's hospital last December and even though my daughter was sick, there were SO many children that were battling really tough diseases. I lifted all these kiddos across the country & world up to The Lord and lifted their families up as well. I can remember all too well all the beautiful children we saw and I know there are so many children all over the country and the world that need our prayers. Beads of Courage is such a wonderful program. Laura, I want you to know I ordered up a kit for me and my girls to make 25 beads of courage bags over the summer. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Thanks for such a wonderful challenge!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Blessings,</div>

Here is an Untangled Prayer for all the moms and dads that have kids home for the summer. Yesterday was my kids last day of school, it's hard to believe that another year has gone by! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Summer can be an awesome time with the kids but sometimes it can try everyones' patience. So I decided to start the summer off for a prayer for all of us moms & dads. I found a great bible verse to help me stay focused. It was Colossians 1:11 NIV <i>"</i><span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-family: Trebuchet, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: justify;"><i>being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience". </i> Yes, that is what I need this summer great endurance and patience!!! </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-family: Trebuchet, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-family: Trebuchet, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: justify;">If you like it then I encourage you to read the the whole passage of Colossians 1:1-13. It's a good one. :)</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-family: Trebuchet, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="background-color: #fdfeff; color: #001320; font-family: Trebuchet, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; text-align: justify;">The main tangle is Bugles by Joyce Evans. Thanks to the Diva Challenge who challenged us to use this tangle: Bugles was perfect for the start of summer! It made me think of everyone shouting: "It's Summer!!!" :)</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Hi Everyone,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
With the end of school coming up for my girls I decided to pray for Wisdom. Initially I was focused on my daughters and their finals and finishing the year strong. Then...since this took me a awhile, my prayer morphed into prayers for wisdom for many of people in my life, including myself and those of you that read my blog. :) We all can use a little wisdom, right? Especially wisdom that comes from God. He knows what we should say, not say, do and not do, think and not think...There are so many different ways having God's wisdom can put us on the right path...the path of health, happiness, love, security, hope...all the good things...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I pray you all have wisdom this week that will help you to make the right decisions in your life! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
The tangle I started with was Rain from the Diva Challenge. I had never used it before (I don't think!), but I liked it. :) I also used Ballenchain from Sandy Bartholomew (I got this one from her Tangle Library App - very cool.) Ballenchain was tough for me, but maybe with practice it will come easier. Then I used Huggins at the top, which is an official Tangle pattern from Rick and Maria. Haven't used it in awhile and I forgot how much I love this one. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Enjoy and may the wisdom of God be with you! :)</div>
